Young Mind Masters (“YMM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Young Mind Masters, LLC., respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at www.youngmindmasters.com and our educational programs (together, the “Services”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

This Policy is written for the adults who use our Services — parents, guardians, and educators. Our program is designed for children but is used by adults, who play the lessons for the children in their care. We do not collect personal information from or about children; our short Children’s Privacy Statement explains this.

1. Who this Policy applies to
This Policy applies to visitors to our website and to the parents, guardians, and educators who set up or manage access to our programs. Our website is intended for adults; children do not create accounts or provide information, and we do not collect personal information from or about children (see our Children’s Privacy Statement).

2. Information we collect

a. Information you provide to us. We collect information you give us directly, such as:

Account and contact information — your name, email address, and, if you create an account, your login details;

Role information — whether you are a parent, guardian, educator, or school administrator, and, for educators, your school or organization;

Payment information — if you purchase a subscription or product, our payment processor collects your payment details. We do not store full payment-card numbers ourselves; and

Communications — information you include when you contact us, respond to a survey, or sign up for our emails.

b. Information we collect automatically. When you use our website, we and our providers may automatically collect limited technical information such as your device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and how you interact with the site. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in our Cookie Policy.

c. Information from other sources. If you access our program through a school, we may receive limited information from that school to set up access. If you pay for a subscription, we receive transaction confirmation from our payment processor.

3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:

provide, operate, personalize, and improve the Services;

create and manage accounts and deliver the program to children whose parents, guardians, or schools have set up access;

process payments and manage subscriptions;

communicate with you about your account, respond to your requests, and send administrative messages;

send you marketing or educational emails where permitted (you can opt out at any time — see Section 6);

maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the Services; and

comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not collect or use children’s personal information for advertising. See our Children’s Privacy Statement for details.

4. How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:

Service providers. Our providers include Kajabi (website hosting, course delivery, and email communications), Stripe (payment processing), and Google Analytics (limited site analytics). We may also use Meta Pixel for advertising measurement on marketing pages only. Analytics and advertising tools are limited to our public marketing pages. We do not use advertising pixels, behavioral tracking, or third-party advertising analytics within the student learning environment or on any portion of our Services directed at children. Within the learning environment, we collect only the limited usage data necessary to operate the Services, deliver course content, and support student progress — and this data is never used for targeted advertising or sold to third parties. Our service providers are contractually permitted to use student data solely to provide services to us, consistent with our Student Data Privacy Agreement and applicable law, including COPPA.

Schools. Where a child participates through a school, we share information with that school as needed to administer the program.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of YMM, our users, or others.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.

5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. For details and your choices, see our Cookie Policy.

6. Your choices and rights

Marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any marketing message or contacting us. We may still send you non-marketing messages about your account or purchases.

Access, update, and deletion. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us at [email protected]. We do not collect personal information from children; see our Children’s Privacy Statement.

Your California privacy rights. If you are a California resident, you may have rights to know what personal information we collect, to request access or deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. Other states and countries. Residents of other U.S. states or other countries may have similar rights under their local laws. Contact us and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

If you access our Services from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your personal information, and to data portability. We rely on appropriate legal bases (such as your consent, performing a contract with you, and our legitimate interests) to process personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.

8. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, and we require our service providers to do the same. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

9. Children
Our Services are designed for children, but they are used by adults — parents, guardians, and educators — who play the lessons for the children in their care. Children do not create accounts or provide information, and we do not collect personal information from or about children. See our Children’s Privacy Statement for details. If we ever add a feature that would collect children’s information, we will comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable laws, including obtaining verifiable parental consent where required, before doing so.

10. Third-party links
Our Services may link to third-party websites or resources that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Users outside the United States
We are based in the United States, and we operate the Services from the United States. If you access the Services from another country, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

12. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Because no uniform industry standard for responding to DNT signals has been adopted, we do not respond to DNT signals at this time. However, where required by applicable law, we treat a valid Global Privacy Control signal received from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Young Mind Masters, LLC. (“Young Mind Masters,” “YMM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of our website at www.youngmindmasters.com, our educational programs, and related content and materials (together, the “Services”).
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who may use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account, make a purchase, or otherwise agree to these Terms. The Services are designed for children, but children access the program only through a parent, guardian, or school. If you set up access for a child, you represent that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or an authorized representative of the child’s school, and that you have the authority to agree to these Terms on their behalf.
Use of any and all content created, further defined as The Services, by Young Mind Masters, LLC. is contingent upon the proper and complete payment by the user for The Services and content provided. The utilization of The Services provided by Young Mind Masters, LLC. by any individual or entity that has not paid for The Services is strictly prohibited. Young Mind Masters, LLC. reserves the right to claim for and pursue just compensation for any content or services (The Services) that have been utilized by an individual or entity that has not paid for The Services provided.

2. The Services
Young Mind Masters provides an educational social-emotional learning program for children, delivered through our website, audio, and related materials. We may update, change, add, or remove features of the Services at any time.

3. Your account
To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it up to date, and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without your authorization.

4. Purchases, subscriptions, and billing
If you purchase a product or subscription, the following applies:

• Pricing and payment. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change over time. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method for the amounts due.
• Subscriptions and renewals. Subscriptions automatically renew for successive periods at the then-current price until you cancel. We will disclose renewal terms at purchase as required by law.
• Cancellation and refunds. You may cancel as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms.
• Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes that are not identified in Young Mind Masters, LLC. pricing structure.

5. License to use the Services
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services and materials for your own personal, family, or authorized educational use, and for no other purpose. Schools and organizations may be granted a separate license under a written agreement (see Section 14).

6. Intellectual property
The Services and all content and materials in them — including the Young Mind Masters name and logo, the characters (including the “Grumpies” and “Wizards”), storylines, artwork, audio, curricula, frameworks and methods (including “Notice · Name · Choose” and the Grumpy Storm model), text, graphics, and software — are owned by Young Mind Masters, LLC. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. All rights are reserved.

Except for the limited license in Section 5, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display or perform, modify, translate, create derivative works from, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any part of the Services or materials without our prior written permission. You may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
Our names, logos, characters, and product names are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
 

use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized purpose;
copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit the Services or materials, except as expressly permitted;
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or underlying content, except where the law permits;
scrape, harvest, or use automated means to access or collect data from the Services;
interfere with or disrupt the Services or their security; or
attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or another user’s account.

8. Feedback and any content you submit
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Services, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or obligation to you. If the Services allow you to submit any content, you are responsible for it and grant us a license to use it as needed to operate the Services. Do not submit anything unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.

10. Educational program — important disclaimer
Young Mind Masters is an educational program and is not therapy, counseling, medical care, or any form of clinical treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional advice or care. It is not a crisis or emergency service. Please read our full Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number; in the United States, call or text 988 or call 911.

11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and all materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that they will produce any particular result. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Young Mind Masters, LLC. and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount the customer paid the provider in the previous twelve (12) months before the claim] or US$100, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Young Mind Masters, LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Schools and organizations
If you access the Services on behalf of a school, district, or organization, additional or separate terms — such as a services agreement or a student data privacy agreement — may apply. Where a separate written agreement exists between us and your organization, that agreement governs to the extent it conflicts with these Terms for that organization’s use. We do not collect student-identifiable information; see our Children’s Privacy Statement.

15. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our Children’s Privacy Statement.

16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — will survive.

17. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

19. General
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer.
Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how purchases, cancellations, and refunds work for Young Mind Masters (“YMM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Young Mind Masters, LLC.
 

Subscriptions and renewals
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will tell you the billing frequency and price at purchase.

How to cancel
You can cancel at any time by logging into your account and selecting Cancel Subscription, or emailing us at [email protected]. When you cancel, you will retain access until the end of your current paid period, and you will not be charged again after that.
 

Refunds
Money-back window: For one-time purchases and Subscriptions, if you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase.
Renewals: Charges for renewal periods are non-refundable once the new period begins, so please cancel before your renewal date if you do not wish to continue.

Free trials
If your plan includes a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically and your payment method will be charged at the then-current price.
 

How to request a refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and order details. We aim to review requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and may take 30 business days to appear, depending on the provider.
 

Your legal rights
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law. Where the law gives you a right to a refund or cancellation that is greater than what is described here, that law applies.
