Disclaimer

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Please read this Disclaimer carefully before using the Young Mind Masters website, programs, or materials (together, the “Program”). By using the Program, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

In this Disclaimer, “Young Mind Masters,” “YMM,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Young Mind Masters, LLC., operating the website at www.youngmindmasters.com.

1. Young Mind Masters is an educational program, not treatment
Young Mind Masters is an educational social-emotional learning (“SEL”) and mental-fitness program for children, generally ages 5–12. It is designed to help children notice their feelings, name patterns, and choose helpful responses through stories, characters, and practice activities.

The Program is educational and self-help in nature. It is not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, medical care, or any form of clinical treatment, and it is not a substitute for the advice, diagnosis, or care of a licensed physician, psychologist, therapist, counselor, or other qualified professional.

2. Not medical, psychological, or mental-health advice
The content, characters, frameworks, exercises, and materials in the Program are provided for general educational purposes only. They do not constitute, and should not be relied upon as, medical, psychological, psychiatric, behavioral-health, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice.

Young Mind Masters does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, disorder, or disease. The Program is not delivered by licensed clinicians acting in a clinical capacity, and using the Program does not establish a therapist–client, counselor–client, physician–patient, or any similar professional relationship.

If you have any concern about a child’s mental health, emotional wellbeing, behavior, or development, please consult a qualified, licensed professional such as a pediatrician, psychologist, licensed therapist, or your child’s school counselor.

3. Not for emergencies or crises
Young Mind Masters is not a crisis service and cannot respond to emergencies.

If a child is in immediate danger, or you believe a child may harm themselves or someone else, do not rely on the Program. In the United States, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911 right away for emergency services. Outside the United States, contact your local emergency number or crisis service.

4. Results are not guaranteed
Children are individuals, and every child responds differently. We are honest about this: we make no promises or guarantees about specific outcomes or results. We do not claim that the Program is “clinically proven,” that it will improve any particular behavior or skill, or that it will produce any specific change in any child. Any examples, stories, or descriptions of benefits are illustrative and are not a guarantee that you or your child will experience the same.

5. How we use research
Young Mind Masters is informed by published research in areas such as emotion labeling, self-distancing, and breathing-based regulation. Referencing this research means our design is grounded in established ideas — it does not mean the Program itself has been independently tested, validated, or proven effective. Where the Program has not yet been formally evaluated, we will say so plainly. Any references to studies or science are provided for background and transparency, not as a claim of proven results for our Program.

6. Responsibility of parents, caregivers, and educators
The Program is intended to be used by children with the involvement and supervision of a trusted adult. Parents, caregivers, and educators are responsible for deciding whether the Program is appropriate for a particular child, for supervising the child’s use, and for using their own judgment about each child’s needs. You know your child or student best. If something in the Program does not feel right for a particular child, please stop and consult a qualified professional.

7. Third-party links and resources
The Program may include links to or references to third-party websites, tools, or resources. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third party, and a link or reference is not an endorsement.

8. Changes to this Disclaimer
We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Program after any change means you accept the updated Disclaimer.
