Children’s Privacy

Young Mind Masters (“YMM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Young Mind Masters, LLC. offers an educational social-emotional learning program for children, generally ages 5–12. We care deeply about children’s privacy, and we have designed the program to protect children’s privacy by collecting as little information as possible.

We do not collect personal information from children
Our program is made for children, but it is implemented by adults — parents, guardians, and educators — who play the lessons for the children in their care. Children do not create accounts, log in, or enter any information themselves.
We do not collect personal information from or about individual children. Specifically:
we do not collect a child’s name, nickname, photo, voice, or contact information;
we do not create individual profiles for children;
we do not track progress by child — any progress information is kept only at the account level of the adult who is signed in; and we do not ask children to provide, and we do not store, responses tied to an identifiable child.

No advertising or profiling of children
We do not show children advertising, we do not use children’s information to build profiles, and we do not sell any children’s information — because we do not collect it in the first place.

Information regarding Adults
The adults who use our program do have accounts, and we handle their information — such as name and email — as described in our Privacy Policy.

Schools
When our program is used in a classroom, the adult educator operates it. We do not collect student-identifiable information such as student rosters, names, or per-student progress. If a school ever asks us to handle student information, we would do so only under a written agreement with the school and in compliance with applicable law.

Social Communication
The Young Mind Masters platform does not allow for any children to share communication such as cross-platform communication or what is commonly knon as in-game chat with any other platform or person.

If this ever changes
If we add any feature that would collect personal information from or about children, we will update this statement, and we will comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable laws — including obtaining verifiable parental consent where required — before that feature becomes available.
